Riot in Veins

from Stampcore (Demo EP) by Mike Stamper

/

about

This is a metal cover of "In The Fall", a song by Knoxville, which is a band formed by friends from my native town. I loved this tune and I wanted to do my personal tribute to it and have some fun.

lyrics

(original lyrics by Knoxville band from Asturias)

In this time of decadence
You have to make your best
To have your lies believed
By the people you deceived.

There are no signs of hope
Cause with you this is the worst
For you to take what’s mine
Stealing like a rat

We have no face
We have no name
We only can be bought
With the guns that kill our owns

As the only road we've got
You'll try to take us all
Killing lots of us
Cause we are a number in his hands

We fight for our freedom, yeah
Standing without hope
You're in free fall
Hell yeah, fuck 'em all.

The things which you fought yesterday.
Will rise your ignorance
You said we were madmen in your streets.
I will make you feel a riot on your veins.

Manipulation!
and corruption!
Manipulation!
and corruption!
